DMA Law is looking to appoint a Front of House/Admin Assistant (Field Worker) to support our busy offices across the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and is keen to be a valued part of our team.

Location

Based primarily at our Hartlepool office, but with travel to all other DMA Law office locations as and when required to cover holidays and absences.

Key Details

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Salary: Dependant on experience
  • Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

You will work under the remote supervision of the Operations Manager and their deputy, providing essential front of house and administrative support across DMA Law’s multiple office locations. Your flexibility and professionalism will help ensure our offices run smoothly and efficiently at all times, especially during periods of staff holidays or absences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travelling between our office locations to provide cover when needed
  • Welcoming visitors and handling enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering and directing calls via the main switchboard, and taking accurate messages
  • Assisting with day-to-day office operations, including meeting room setup and diary management
  • Supporting teams with a range of administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, printing, data entry, and filing
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, including occasional banking duties
  • Handling client payments and petty cash, and certifying documents when needed
  • Organising and retrieving legal documents such as Wills, Trusts, and Title Deeds
  • Supporting remote workers by printing and distributing documents as needed
  • Helping to maintain staffing rotas and office records
  • Assisting with general inbox management during busy periods or staff absence
  • Acting as a trained First Aider and Fire Marshal (training will be provided)
  • Performing any other general administrative duties required to support the smooth running of the business

  • A positive team player attitude, with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Confidence providing excellent service both over the telephone and in person
  • A well-presented, warm, and welcoming manner
  • Strong organisation and multitasking skills
