Meet The Team

I have been with DMA since March 2024 when I joined the Family team as a Family Solicitor, having qualified in February 2024.
I love working in such a busy department and I have a passion for helping people and obtaining the results my clients want and need. I pride myself on having a compassionate, non-judgemental and understanding approach to my job role. I truly believe that building a rapport with my clients from the offset is imperative as this allows them to feel comfortable when opening up to me about their personal circumstances.
I left Northumbria University with a 2:1 Masters Degree in Law in 2019 and started working as a family secretary at another firm. From there, I was quickly offered a Training Contract, specialising in Family Law and Care Proceedings which I completed in 2024. Throughout my Training Contract, I had my own case load and regularly represented my clients at Court, which gave me invaluable experience. I have continued to progress within DMA Law and have my own case load. I work from the Consett office and provide advice to clients in respect of Family Law matters both in the office and at Court. I also offer Pro Bono advice to clients at Wearside Women in Need which I find extremely rewarding.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and young daughter which often includes going for walks and holidays both abroad and in the UK.
