DMA Law supported World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday 21st of March and raised a staggering amount of £1500. The DMA Law Link held a bake sale and raffled off a tailor-made hamper across the firm, members of the staff and local shops and businesses.

All members of staff were invited to wear their colourful, non-matching socks for the “rock your socks” campaign to help raise awareness.

Together 21 supports children and young people with Down Syndrome, and their families, in the Durham and Teesside area, offering a wide range of fun learning activities to help them to develop key skills.

The group provides training sessions for parents and their wider family throughout the year. Together 21 also works hard to promote and raise awareness about Down syndrome around the local schools, communities and businesses.

All the money raised will be donated directly to Together 21 which will:

  • Help the group continue providing their vital services.
  • Help them provide specialist support to help children and young people, ages 0-17.
  • Allow them to take the children out on activities, events and trips.
  • Enable Together 21 support more families.
