More about the role:

DMA Law is looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to support our busy Property Department.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Requesting Office Copy Entries, Land Registry, Local Authority and AML Searches
  • Checking LMS/Lender Exchange for mortgage offers and updating lenders if necessary
  • Completing electronic forms
  • Keeping diary systems up to date
  • Dealing with telephone queries and, if necessary, taking comprehensive messages for forwarding to the designated person
  • Ensuring that all client related details/documents are recorded and maintained within the Case Management System
  • Taking card payments from clients
  • Filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing, as required

Essential skills and Experience:

  • Possession of, or ability to develop, all round experience in conveyancing work
  • Possession of good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to create and administer day to day work efficiently and effectively
  • Possession of a good level of computer literacy and the ability to use bespoke computer systems
