DMA Law is looking for a Conveyancer to join our friendly and supportive Property Team. This role would suit a newly qualified Solicitor, a Licensed Conveyancer or an experienced Paralegal who is keen to develop their residential conveyancing experience within a long-established North-East law firm.
You will have your own caseload and have the opportunity to build your skills and grow your confidence with a supportive team.
Responsibilities will include:
- A caseload of around 60-80 files, dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfers of title, purchase of freeholds and remortgages
- Keeping all matters in good order throughout the lifetime of the case
- Drafting legal documents relevant to the transaction
- To deliver exceptional levels of client care
- Understanding and adhering to all financial processes and procedures
Essential skills and Experience:
- Possession of, or ability to develop, all round experience in conveyancing work
- Possession of good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Ability to create and administer day to day work efficiently and effectively
- Possession of a good level of computer literacy and the ability to use bespoke computer systems
