Meet The Team

I started working for DMA Law in July 2019 as a Solicitor in the Life Planning and Probate Department. In May 2020 I was delighted to become the Department Manager of the Life Planning and Probate Team and in October 2024, I proudly became the Director of the Life Planning and Probate Team.

I specialise in Wills, Trusts, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Deeds of Variation and Estate Administration. I have worked in this area of law since 2012 and I qualified as a Solicitor in May 2016.

The thing I love most about my job is my clients; everyone has their own life-story to tell and I get to hear a lot about my client’s lives and events that have got them to the present date. My clients keep my faith in humanity – we have such a lovely bunch. Sometimes client meetings can be quite sad, with Probate clients we often reflect on the client’s loved one that has recently passed away, but at the end of those meetings I do feel I’ve really helped to lighten my client’s emotional load – this gives me a great sense of worth. Probably on par with ‘my clients’ being favourite, is dealing with estate administration for clients, I really enjoy drafting Estate Accounts (although I’m sure my school maths teacher would raise an eyebrow at this) and I LOVE paying out Inheritance payments to beneficiaries.

Outside of work I have a fiancé and two children who keep me busy, I love spending time with all my family going for days out, holidays and nice food! I love music, I think my music taste is exceptionally wide, my teenager says ‘you could get whiplash’ listening to my playlists! I’d love to say I like to keep fit but I’m at the very start of a mission to do so at the time of writing, hopefully by the next update I can say that with pride.
