A North East children’s charity is set to benefit thanks to the fundraising efforts of a generous law firm in the region.
Staff from DMA Law, which has offices across the North East, spent the day taking part in a range of fundraising activities to raise money for Together 21.
Together 21 supports children and young people with Down Syndrome, and their families, in the Durham and Teesside area, offering a wide range of fun learning activities to help them to develop key skills.
DMA Law raised a total of £358 for the charity to mark World Down Syndrome Day.
Julie Mathieson, managing director at DMA Law, said: “Together 21 is an outstanding project that helps a huge number of children, young people and their families. We were lucky to spend some time with the group and were able to witness first hand the difference that it makes to people’s lives.
“At DMA Law we have a long-standing tradition of taking part in charity work to help good causes across the region and we were delighted to be able to help Together 21.”
