A North East law firm is waiving its fees for Will-writing this May to help raise money for Cash for Kids.
The first 31 clients visiting DMA Law Link to have a Will written throughout May 2015 will instead be invited to make a donation to the charity.
The suggested donations will be in line with standard fees for writing a will – £120 for a single will or £240 for a couple’s will.
Cash for Kids offers support to disadvantaged children and young people throughout the North East.
Julie Mathieson, Partner at DMA Law, said: “Cash for Kids is a great charity and we wanted to do our bit to help – and we hope people will support our efforts by coming to get a Will drafted at our office on Skinnergate in Darlington.
“While we help hundreds of clients to draft a Will every year, we still find that not nearly enough people have a Will. If you are married, or own a property, it really is essential.”
Appointments can be made in advance, or by dropping in to the DMA Law Link drop-in centre at 40 Skinnergate, Darlington, DL3 7NR.
