More About The Role
The Front of House/Administrator will work as part of the Operations Team under the
remote supervision of the Operations Manager and their deputy to provide front of house
and administration support to our Sunderland office.
This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys working with
people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and is confident managing a range of
administrative tasks in a busy professional environment.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing a professional, welcoming front of house service, dealing with client and visitor enquiries in a helpful, efficient, and courteous manner, both in person and over the telephone
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the office, including ordering and purchasing daily essentials, ensuring the office environment is kept in good working order
- Reporting maintenance issues to the Operations Manager or Deputy Department Manager and contacting service providers as requested
- Handling confidential legal documents and files, including Wills, Trusts, Deeds as well as incoming and outgoing mail
- Processing online and cash payments from clients and taking banking to the local bank branch
- Co-ordinating and updating the local office rota to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times
- Providing general administrative support to local departments as needed, including photocopying, scanning, printing, electronic filing, data entry, and the closing or archiving of files
- Maintaining archiving records and physical inhouse storage/destruction
- Fulfilling the role of First Aider and Fire Marshal as part of a small team (full training provided), including carrying out required checks and maintaining associated records

- a self-motivated individual with good communication skills
- a good team player who is also able to work alone
- able to provide excellent service over the telephone and in person, especially when dealing with distressed or vulnerable clients
- well presented with a warm and welcoming manner
